Once like anyone else in the city, Shiera has traded her flesh away for powers unrivaled. Now little more than a skeleton with fabric instead of skin and Krystals in place of blood, she is undead and as dangerous as death itself.

Flesh to Bone

The powers of Krystals are well explored in terms of infrastructure, medicine, and cybernetics. However Shiera was never satisfied with what has already been explored. A corner, she would take advantage of the privacy given to those in her profession to experiment with Krystals and eventually discovered their necromantic effects. Slowly and over time she learned how to use it to raise people to some semblance of life after death. But never satisfied with the discovered she pushed further and eventually turned the experiments on her self. She created a special cocktail that mixed several chemicals with the Krystals to turn them into a liquid form. She then soaked her self in a bathtub full of it. She found she had gained tremendous powers and further experimented, ever continuing to push the limits of what she and this cocktail could do. She discovered more and more powerful effects she could create with the cocktail, and spent more and more time soaking in it.

However she soon discovered the effect the Krystals had on organics as she found her flesh begin to fall from her bones. She did not die however, or at least did not loose her consciousness. She remained in control of her faculties and motor skills despite not having muscles to connect her bones. But she became reliant on the cocktail, without it she knew she would be no more. She modified her body with cybernetics to pump the cocktail directly into her bones, and her marrow no longer producing it's own blood happily accepted this new liquid. She would go on to spend the rest of her life exploring her new found body and powers and quickly became a deadly force to be reckoned with.

Recharging Station

Shiera King 2

Shiera is now kept alive only through the cocktail, and will die without it. However as she uses her powers she quite literally drains the energy from her bones. Eventually she must evacuate the drained cocktail and reintroduce more into her system. She does this through a special machine that she hooks into cybernetically installed induction ports in the back of her cranium. After enough time she is able to disconnect and walk around freely, until such a time as she uses her powers again. Simply living drains a trivial amount of energy from the cocktail, and if she were to not use her powers there's no telling how long she could go without another recharge.

Suit

Shiera King 1

Shiera employs a special suit to allow her movement away from her machine. While serving to hide her undead visage from the world, it also provides to her a supply of the cocktail. The suit is comprised of a series of tubes connected to her cranial induction ports, however it is her arm which houses and pumps the cocktail. She had her right arm amputated and replaced with this special cybernetic for that sole purpose.

Undead

Shiera boasts a multitude of powers, including that of a necromancer. She can raise the dead, and have them fight for her with abandon. Those recently deceased can even maintain a semblance of their former consciousness for a time before degenerating into mindless zombies. She loves being the queen of the dead and revels in it every opportunity she can.

Psycho Squad

Shiera King 5

Shiera was captured by Psycho Squad and was offered a position on it instead of prison. Accepting, she was part of the team that captured the party. So she was very surprised to hear her former C.O. order her to aid Lanris and Victor a few weeks later. Having no desire to be put back on Psycho Squad she carried out her orders. She knew things were gonna be tense, however she tried to start things off cordial enough. After all she didn't give a flip about these guys, she was simply being force to follow orders that had put her in a kill or be killed situation she had never desired to be in. In her assignment with them she had to deal with Lanris' hard feelings and it slowly began to nag at her. Of all people Lanris should have understood what it was like to be in Psycho Squad. You're given a mission you know is meant to kill you, and you just do what you're told in hopes of living to fight another day. How could he hold a grudge we had to do the same thing to countless others. She even argued with him to no good end. She wanted the Book of Rituals she had to read from for these ungrateful jerks, and if they had been nicer to her maybe she would of just left it at want, but with the way things had gone with Lanris she didn't feel bad one bit for trying to take it from them. She was ultimately unsuccessful in getting it back, and promised Lanris in a last-ditch attempt to get it back that if he did not give it to her she would tell everyone where the Boogeyman she just exorcised from him in hopes to scare him into compliance. It did not work and while upset she had no more cards to play so she walked away having been defeated. However when Jimmy Lang had come to her with his plan to tell the world what the people upstairs had planned for them, she took this opportunity to add another piece of information to the broadcast.

Death

Shiera King 4

While helping Lang broadcast the information they had been working on uncovering, they were defeated by the party. Clinging on to life after being bested her life was in the hands of Sheeva. While Hannibal urged her sparing for a just trial, Lanris had other ideas. He gave Sheeva the go ahead and she cracked and crushed Shiera's bones, and death finally claimed this geist.
